Not all fruits and vegetables carry the same risk of pesticide exposure. The environmental Working Group's "dirty dozen" lists fruits and vegetables that notoriously test positive for pesticide residue.

(Try to buy organic whenever possible)

Imported grapes
Nectarines*
Peaches*
Pears
Potatoes
Raspberries*
Spinach*
Strawberries
*highest residues among the samples

Foods with the
LOWEST PESTICIDE RESIDUES
(When organic is not available, choose these)
Asparagus
Avocados
Bananas
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Sweet corn

A great summer smoothie:

Orange Jublious
Juice from 2 valencia oranges (fresh squeezed)
10 oz frozen mango
3 oz (or more) frozen raspberries
1 young coconut water and meat
(Available at most Asian markets)
1 vanilla bean

Place above ingredients in blender and blend.
